1. Eligibility and agreement
Veil — Match Your Vibe is a dating and social discovery service for adults aged 18 or over, or the higher minimum age required where you live. You must provide an accurate date of birth and have capacity to enter this agreement. Minors may not use Veil. These terms apply when you expressly accept them. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed; optional marketing consent is separate.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account and profile information. Do not impersonate someone else, misrepresent your age, share or sell accounts, evade a suspension, or use another person's identity without authorization. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify support if you suspect unauthorized use. We may ask for proportionate information to resolve account ownership or safety concerns.
3. How Veil works
Discovery initially shows selected highlights rather than a complete profile. Mutual likes create matches and disclose additional information. Further interactions and mutual choices can reveal more. Only share material you are comfortable showing at the relevant stage. Recipients may retain copies outside Veil; screenshot restrictions and one-time viewing cannot guarantee that content will never be copied. Veil does not guarantee a match, a reply, another user's identity or conduct, or personal compatibility.
4. Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain ownership of your photos, voice recordings, profile text and other content. Upload or share content only if you created it or have all necessary permissions, including permissions relating to identifiable people, copyright and privacy. Do not upload stolen photos or someone else's private content.
By submitting content, you grant Veil a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide permission to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, transmit and display it only as necessary to provide the service you use and to maintain its safety. This includes delivering content to the users permitted by your profile visibility, matching, reveal and messaging choices, and processing it through service providers acting for those purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising, resale of your content, or AI model training.
The permission lasts only while needed for these purposes. Removing content or deleting an account ends ordinary use subject to the deletion process, content already delivered to others, and limited legal, security, complaint-evidence and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy. Those exceptions do not permit continued public promotion of deleted content.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not post or send pornography, sexual acts, exposed intimate body parts, sexualized partial nudity, non-consensual intimate material, sexual harassment, exploitation, trafficking, or offers of sexual services. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, sexual content involving minors, grooming and attempts to involve minors are strictly prohibited. Ordinary swimwear or fitness photos are not automatically prohibited; their context must remain non-sexual and appropriate for the service.
Do not threaten, stalk, bully, discriminate against, defraud or extort anyone. Do not share graphic violence, another person's private information without permission, infringing material, spam, malware, or illegal goods or services. Do not scrape profiles, bypass access controls, automate abusive activity, or interfere with the service. Consent to chat or meet is not consent to sexual contact or to distribute someone's content.
6. Moderation, reporting and appeals
We may use automated screening and authorized human review to identify content or activity that violates these terms. We may hold content for review, reject or remove it, warn users, restrict features, suspend accounts or terminate access based on the circumstances. Screening is not a guarantee that all harmful content will be detected.
Use the in-app report and block controls, or contact support if you cannot access the app. For copyright or privacy complaints, identify the affected content and explain your rights; do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive material. You may request review of a moderation or account decision through the available appeal/support features or by email. We may preserve necessary evidence and make reports to relevant authorities as required by law. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
7. LIVE events and meeting in person
LIVE connects eligible participants in an event session. Hosts must provide accurate event details and have permission to organize and promote the event. Host approval does not certify an event's safety or endorse a host. Participants remain responsible for their decisions and must follow applicable venue rules and laws.
Veil Signal is an optional way for matched participants to recognize each other. Displaying a signal does not reveal precise location and is not consent to unwanted contact. Respect another person's decision to stop interacting. Veil does not guarantee attendance, event availability or an in-person meeting.
8. Charges and third-party services
If paid features are offered, the applicable price, duration and renewal terms must be shown before purchase. Purchases, cancellation and refunds are subject to the relevant store terms and mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not themselves start a subscription. Third-party sign-in and other external services have their own terms. Do not assume that availability of one service guarantees availability of another.
9. Withdrawal and deletion
You may request account deletion in account settings or contact support using the account-deletion instructions. Withdrawal hides your profile and begins a 30-day recovery period. Restoring the account during that period cancels the pending deletion. After the period, personal content is erased through our deletion processes, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or cancel any store subscription. Certain messages cannot be individually deleted while the account remains active; this does not remove your applicable data protection rights.
10. Service availability and responsibility
We may maintain, correct or change the service and may interrupt access for technical or safety reasons. We will provide notice of material changes or discontinuation where required. You remain responsible for your content and interactions; we remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. No provision requires you to waive mandatory protections available where you live.
11. Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated through appropriate service notices and, where required, a renewed consent request before they apply. Prior acceptance will not be recorded as acceptance of a new version without an actual acceptance event. You may stop using the service and request deletion if you do not agree to a proposed change.
